Endgame takes the all-time crown back from Avatar

The Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release opened at No. 1 on Sept. 25 to 27 with $26.1 million and added four new post-credit scenes that set up Avengers: Doomsday. The extra money lifted Endgame to about $2.926 billion worldwide, just ahead of Avatar.
